You can even set a date for when you want the gift to be delivered so it can be in your brother’s inbox on his birthday! Will the heat Crack open the whole flax seeds? Could we use crushed flax seeds instead?

They shouldn't crack open - the recipe doesn't require you to toast them for long (it's important you don't as then they would burn!) If you use crushed flax seeds, the texture will be different and the flavour less powerful if you don't toast them. Hope that helps! xxx
