Notes

To keep the flavours balanced, I've used 80% dark chocolate. Feel free to use whichever chocolate you enjoy most but anything much darker can overpower the other ingredients and turn the topping quite bitter.

I found these a bit fiddly to make, and my topping was too bitter (I used 100% cacao, and maybe didnt rinse the quinoa well enough?)

Thanks so much for the feedback Gabi, this is so helpful! I'd say it's mostly down to the chocolate - 100% cacao is quite bitter and can really overpower the other flavours. I've added a note to the recipe so it's clearer for next time. xx
