Chocolate Brownie Pinecones

These chocolate brownie pinecones are the cutest festive treat! A soft, brownie-like base holds everything together while the chocolate cornflakes create the prettiest pinecone layers. Dust with icing sugar and you’ve got the kind of treat everyone reaches for first.

Do you buy the chocolate coated cornflakes or make them yourself?

Hi Maddie! 😊 You’ve got a couple of options here. You can buy chocolate-coated cereals (they’re called different things depending on where you live: Coco Pops, Turtle, Little Boats, Cocoa Smiles, etc.), just keep in mind that not all of them are vegan, for example, the UK ones aren’t, but I’ve found vegan versions in Italy. If you can’t find suitable ones, I usually just coat regular cornflakes in melted dark chocolate and let them set on baking paper.
